Happiness

It came in, a soothing gush of wind,
Like a cool breeze in the scorching heat,
Rather like the warmth for the biting cold.
Boost it was, helping in what was to be done,
Came in at a critical time, a helping hand.
Forgetful it made us, about every regretful night,
Tears ran dry, as it made all the misery fly away,
Brought in joy, even in the eyes of a new born.
Term it as the ‘wonder drug’, healing all the wounds,
Never holds you down, breaking all binding chains.
There it came, arms wide open,
Overwhelming us, making our load lighter.
